Dear Friends of the Dublin Public Library,
We are very pleased to announce the speakers for our annual meeting on Thursday, 9/17 at 7:00pm.
Fred Rogers is a Professor of Geology at Franklin Pierce University.  He is also a member of their recently-formed Climate Action Institute.  This was formed only a year ago and is open to local citizens as well as FPU faculty, staff, and students.

Two colleagues from the faculty and institute, Dr. Gerald Burns, Professor of English, and Dr. Catherine Koning, Professor of Environmental Science will be joining Fred. Each of them will talk about a different aspect of this on-going climate crisis.

They will lead off by presenting the scientific basis of climate change.  This will be followed by looking at the human factors involved in climate change (Jerry), and then looking at the actions that can be taken to ameliorate climate change (Catherine).

We are all looking forward to this presentation about the critical issue of climate change.
Time: Sep 17, 2020 07:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada)
